David Saunders Hey guys
I was very happy with this little widget until today.
I have been running a blog under test and my widget worked perfectly fine until to day, during our second day of deployment.
It is not showing the current tweet on the sidebar of the blog page.
I have removed and reloaded the widget,
I rebuilt the API key to twitter,
but the only thing that is not working is....
It is not posting any current tweets.
Any ideas?

Key Rat This is because Twitter turned off basic authentication, the method that Twitter Tools uses to connect.
The plugin now needs an update to support OAuth, the new, more secure form of authentication employed by Twitter.

Cable Boy I had the same problem and updated the plugin. I put in all the keys and got a message saying the connection is successful (no errors). But it's still not showing my newest tweets, even after hitting the "Update Tweets" button.
Cable Boy Nevermind it works now. I went to bed, got up, and it resumed updating.
