To have a full width page, I have two choices:
1) Create a new page template and call a new div that I put in either the existing css file, or create a new one and import it.
Is this correct?
If I want to get fancy and use it for some posts, I need to move the subscribe feed out of the sidebar.
Besides menu capabilities, every theme needs a full width template. It's the largest structural issue I see with Carrington. It should come with such out of the box.
Rey Moreno Where you able to get it to work? I also need a true full page. I can get rid of the sidebar but the content wont fill the evacuated space correctly. I used a border to show that i do have a full width div, but the content seems limited by some other factor. Any suggestions?
James Chard +1 for a full width page - I'd be happy with even a 1-column sidebar.
If anyone (and this forum does seem pretty empty :-( ) can suggest how a novice can achieve this, please let me know.
